Once upon a time Scott, Douglas and Ronald, three of the nicest guys you're ever likely to meet, got together one very cold evening in a rickety old rented office with its stinky loo, to discuss business ideas! The stinky loo, proved too overpowering to think of anything else. So we tentatively started talking about, hygiene and toilets. And not just from that bad experience but from many.
Collectively they ranged from festival porta-loos, over subscribed toilets in a training centre, nightclubs (OMG), a fateful road side café and of course many other lovely public conveniences that scatter our great nation... let your imagination fill in the blanks.
The team discussed at length, solutions including the mythical hovering technique! It can take many years of training to acquire dexterity. Although still practiced by many people it is unsuccessful in most cases because of insufficient calf strength. Add a few alcoholic beverages and the problem becomes unmanageable.
With this fevered flurry of discussion, We started talking about the merits of covering a toilet seat with toilet roll! Once again, a rather difficult situation if nature is on a stampede. So in these dismal surroundings and thoughts, the idea to set up Cheekyseats was born.
